  1. Dear Mr. President-elect, congratulations on your resounding victory at the US polls in November. It becomes clearer by the day that as a change-agent assigned by the Almighty God, you have identified with the global trend of allowing the inalienable rights of peoples, states and nationalities with genuine cases to freely and collectively agitate and determine their future. It is against this backdrop that i enjoin that through your good offices such peoples as mentioned above be made a part of your priority as soon as you take over the Oval office in January 2017. I need not bore you here with history of what has befallen the people of eastern Nigeria and their immediate neighbours in the aftermath of the 3 year brutal and senseless civil war which claimed more than a million souls, due largely to starvation and man’s inhumanity to man. It may interest you to know that the short-lived Biafra Republic has, eversince after the brutal war Nigeria declared on it primarily to exterminate through pogrom the Igbo of eastern Nigeria, continuously suffered want, injustice, deprivation, neglect and abandonment as a result of concerted effort of the Nigeria government to through policy restrictions perpetually subjugate and strangulate the economic gains made by the Igbos and their southern minority neighbours over the years. Sir, no relationship founded on wrong assumption and foundation stands the test of time. Nigeria coming into being was a fraud contrived by the British imperialists in alliance with the northern Nigeria traditional hegemonists who saw Southern Nigeria as a “lady of means” who MUST marry the “poor, indigent bachelor” from Northern Nigeria. That infamously contracted marriage of 1914 ended in 2014 one hundred years after. The people of Biafra need freedom. They want a country to call their own. They want to be free from religious bigotry, from unlawful encroach upon their lands by gun-trotting marauders in the name of Fulani cattle rearers. They want to be free from impunity, imposition and hatred. Biafrans believe that only your government will offer them the hope of restoring their inheritance by causing the UN to conduct a referendum on the issue of Biafra. The world cannot afford to ignore the Biafra issue; it will be doing so at its peril. The conflagration that will envelop africa, especially the West Africa subregion, cannot be measured in the event of such political or leadership indiscretion. Biafra is an idea that cannot be extinguished; it is a spirit divinely conceived to liberate Africa from the vestiges of underdevelopment and poverty. The time to act in now or never!
